1) Initial Meeting: I will come to your property, free of charge, to discuss what you would like to change about your landscape. We will walk through your garden and talk about problems you want to solve, your personal taste, your budget and your time-line for the project.
2) Site Analysis: I will return to the site on my own to evaluate your existing landscape. I will take photos and measure the property to create a detailed base map of the existing features on your property.
3) Concept Meeting: With your input from our initial meeting and a detailed questionnaire, I will hand-draft a concept plan showing the basic layout of planting beds, hardscapes, walkways and lawn areas. We will meet to go over this design, review ideas and make changes until we are both happy with the basic concept of the design.
4) Final Design Meeting: I will meet with you to present the final, hand-drafted landscape design. You will receive three copies as well as a detailed plant material list and additional notes as needed.
5) Facilitation: After we have created a final design, I am available to assist with the installation process. I can give you referrals for contractors, and help with plant procurement and placement on planting day. This ensures that the design goes in as it was meant to.
I also offer garden maintenance services for my clients and I love taking care of gardens I have designed. My services include weeding, raking, pruning, mulching and general clean up on a weekly or monthly basis. I also offer Spring and Fall clean ups.
